We believe life is about relationships and being a Christian is about relationships too. cGroups at Compassion Church are designed to help us strengthen our relationship with God, other Christians, and the local church.

 

Being in a group will help develop you as a Christian, give you community, and launch you into your God given purpose: changing the world around you!

To join a cGroup, please click on the group and register. Our groups are in semesters. Each year we have Spring and Fall semesters. You will register each semester for the group(s) you wish to attend. This will allow you a Summer break. Then, you can consider coming back to the same group or trying different groups next time. It will also allow us to add brand new ones at the start of the next Semester. But keep an eye out for some fun Summer meetings that may still pop up!

LEAD A cGROUP

Leading a cGroup isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it.

 

We give you essential tools to make your cGroup successful through leadership training and an online directory where you can register your group so others can find it easily.

 

People’s lives are changed one session at a time by moving one step toward Christ, and as a cGroup leader you get to play an important role in that process.

All cGroup leaders are required to:
- Complete Immerse Course
- Participate in a cGroup
- Go through Our cGroup Leadership Training (see Pastor Travis) 

- Be 21 years or older

- Submit an application

- Sign a commitment form

The cGroup leader training will help you understand what a cGroup Leader does, what it looks like to create an atmosphere for God's healing to move in, become aware of amazing resources, and much, much more.

Hosting a home

Don't want to lead a group, but willing to host a home for meetings? You can be a cGroup Host! We will pair you up with a leader needing a meeting place. They will handle all types of planning, communication with their group members, dates, info, etc. All you have to do is open your home or meeting space for our group! Please email us at compassionchurchtn@gmail.com or see one of our Communications Team members at the Welcome Center in the lobby and let us know!
